FORMATUBE & PLASTITUBE

Formatube is a cardboard tube specifically designed to be used by builders to pour concrete columns above ground as in car parks or can be used in ground to prevent soil collapsing when digging.

Formatube is a cost effective method and easy to use product which is designed to stand upright requiring minimum bracing when used for concrete formwork for above ground columns.

The outer surface of the Formatube is impregnated with a plastic coating for water resistance. The inside is coated with an oil lining to prevent the concrete sticking to the board and enables quick release.

Formatube is a stock item available for immediate delivery. Sizes range from 150mm up to 1200mm internal diameter.

Standard lengths are available in either 3 meter or 4 meter for diameters up to 600mm. All larger diameters are available in 4 meter lengths only.

Customised lengths are made to order and require a manufacture time 5 working days.

Plastitube is a plastic liner fitted inside the cardboard Formatube to generate a class 1 finish on the concrete column leaving a smooth surface without the spiral marks of Formatube and can be directly painted.
